When to Go
Tulip season runs from April through mid-May, and is by far one of the best times to visit Amsterdam. If weather is your main concern, stick to touring Amsterdam from May through October, when daily temperatures are mild (70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) and the evening temperatures are in the 50s and 60s. Damp conditions exist almost year-round and make for especially bone-chilling winters. Winter temperatures range from 30 to 40 degrees. Cloudless days are rare.

| Budapest
Budapest is a beautiful metropolis with a lively nightlife. The city is known as the Paris of Eastern Europe because of its monuments. The main downtown railway station called the 'Western Station' (Nyugati Palyaudvar) was even designed by the renowned Gustave Eiffel who built the tour Eiffel. Budapest is famous for its broad avenues and well-laid parks, and is best explored on foot. The Castle District and the Royal Palace are frequented by travellers almost year round, while the Óbuda area has some Roman ruins and the Kiscelli Museum. A cruise along the Danube is a wonderful option as well especially if you are in Budapest.
Budapest averages 2000 hours of sunshine a year, among the highest in Europe, providing many opportunities to visit Budapest in reasonably fine weather and avoid the madness and expense of Europe's high season. Both spring and autumn are glorious in Budapest, with plenty to see and do, and the winter cold doesn't really hit until mid-December when many museums and tourist sights close. Often, even in winter there are spectacular blue skies.
Budapest has a temperate, transitional climate - somewhere between the mild, rainy weather of Transdanubia, protected by the Alps to the west, and the harsh, variable climate of the flat and open Great Plain to the east. The Budapest spring arrives in early April and usually ends in showers. Summer can be very hot and humid. It rains for most of November and doesn't usually get cold until mid-December. Winter is relatively short, often cloudy and damp but sometimes brilliantly sunny. What little snow the city gets usually disappears after a few days. January is the coldest month (with the temperature averaging -2°C/28°F) and August the hottest (21°C/70°F - although summers can get much hotter than this average). The number of hours of sunshine a year averages just over 2000, among the highest in Europe; from April to the end of September, you can expect the sun to shine for about 10 hours a day.
Rudesheim Mid Rhine
Since the beginning of the nineteenth century has been an attraction for English and German poets alike, and is today, considering the modest number of residents one of the most visited towns in the country.
Historical landmarks, such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year old Broemser castle and the ruins of the Ehrenfels Castle invite you to linger. Those seeking peace and tranquillity will find it in the extensive forests of the nature park Rhein-Taunus, in the natural beauty of the vineyards, or in the hidden alleyways of the town.
From the vantage points of the Niederwald, the visitor can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Rhine valley with the Nahe river estuary and the beautiful uniformity of the steep vineyards. Talking of wine: enjoy the superb Ruedesheimer Riesling, together with music and dancing, in the Drosselgasse or in the numerous inns, wine bars and taverns.
Temperatures in Rudesheim range from -0.85 to 25.7 (Celcius)
